Skirting the issue

I made Sophie a new skort for school. She want's a older look as she will be 7 tomorrow. I used hot pink twill with tone on tone flower. Sophie doesn't want a lot of detail on her skirt right now. I used the same fabric for the flower and appliqued it with the raw edge. I used a light green for the leaves to add just a hint of color. She was happy with it and wore it to school today. It was very fast and simple.
